Abstract
Al Huda Banyuwangi Hospital has implemented Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in the inpatient unit since July 2024. However, its implementation remains problematic, including hybrid system use, the absence of electronic signatures, and incomplete EMR documentation. This study aimed to analyze EMR acceptance using the Technology Acceptance Model, which includes training, module, policy, facilities, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, behavioral intention, and actual use. This research employed an analytical quantitative method with a cross sectional approach through questionnaires distributed to 123 EMR users in the inpatient unit. The results showed that training (sig. 0.000; r = 0.415), module (sig. 0.010; r = 0.231), policy (sig. 0.000; r = 0.500), and facilities (sig. 0.010; r = 0.233) were significantly associated with perceived usefulness. Training (sig. 0.000; r = 0.534), module (sig. 0.000; r = 0.377), policy (sig. 0.000; r = 0.589), and facilities (sig. 0.000; r = 0.393) were also significantly associated with perceived ease of use. Perceived ease of use was significantly associated with perceived usefulness (sig. 0.000; r = 0.695). Perceived usefulness (sig. 0.000; r = 0.643) and perceived ease of use (sig. 0.000; r = 0.592) were significantly associated with behavioral intention. Behavioral intention was significantly associated with actual EMR use (sig. 0.000; r = 0.684). Therefore, improvements in training, provision of practical modules, policy formalization, addition of IT personnel, development of electronic signature features, and additional computers in the nurse station are recommended to optimize EMR implementation. Keywords: EMR, hospital, inpatient care, TAM, user acceptance.
