Abstract

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus L.) is one of the plants from the Graminiae group that produces essential oils, from the demand for citronella oil per year, indosenia is only able to meet 200-250 tons or only about 50-60%. The gap in citronella production between potential production and production yields is thought to be a result of the use of fertilizers that are not in accordance with the SOP, this study aims to determine the Effect of Granule Organic Fertilizer Dosage (POG) on Initial Production of Lemongrass (Cymbopogon Nardus L) Sitrona 1 Agribun Variety. This study used non-factorial RAK with the addition of granule organic fertilizer with 5 treatments, treatment A0 = kontrol; A1 = 1 kg; A2 = 1,5 Kg; A3 = 2 Kg; A4 = 2,5 Kg. Observation data were analyzed by analysis of variance / ANOVA using the F test at the level of confidence of 5% and 1% to determine whether there was an effect of the treatment performed. If there is an influence from the treatment, then proceed with the Honest Real Difference Test. The results showed that the addition of granule organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the initial production of citronella for the characters of the number of tillers aged 90 and 120 DAS, the number of leaves aged 90 and 120 DAS, wet leaf weight, dry leaf weight, and leaf width at 120 DAS. It had no significant effect on the characters of the number of tillers aged 30 and 60 DAS, number of leaves aged 30 and 60 DAS, and leaf widths aged 30, 60, and 90 DAS.
