Abstract
This research seeks to analyze the management of Village Funds from a good governance perspective in promoting food security in Curah Jeru Village, Panji District, Situbondo Regency. The study employs a qualitative method, with data gathered through interviews, documentation, and observations. The results reveal that the management of Village Funds has demonstrated the core principles of good governance, such as transparency, accountability, community involvement, and effectiveness in program implementation. Various initiatives, such as the development of agricultural infrastructure, provision of farming tools, and utilization of idle land, have contributed to strengthening local food security. However, several challenges remain, including limited capacity of village officials, suboptimal community involvement, budget constraints, and weak coordination among village institutions. Therefore, improving human resource capacity, enhancing public participation, and optimizing program planning are essential to ensure more effective and sustainable Village Fund management in supporting food security.
