Abstract
Medical record file control is activity of borrowing and repayment medical record file from and to Medical Record Instalation. The activity of return inpatient medical records file at Mitra Medika Hospital Bondowoso have not been Standart Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding the return of inpatient medical records, medical records file should be returned to the Medical Record Unit at the latest 2x24 hours after discharge. This is caused by borrowers who forget to return the RM file, liveliness rm officers remind the borrower to return where it caused distance the ward with RM Installation apart. This research aims to design Information Systems And Medical Record File Reminder Returns With Gammu SMS Gateway which is expected to tackle the problem of control rm files one of which delays the return of the file rm. This research was conducted at Mitra Medika Hospital Bondowoso this system design using programing language Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0. Qualitative research with waterfall system development methods. Data collection methods used were interviews and observation. The result of this research is a computerized system control medical record file that has the function of reminder in the form of a short message that will be sent to the borrower files rm.
