Abstract
The medical record is the file containing the records and documents on his identity, examination, treatment, action and other services that have been given to patients. Note the writings made by physicians regarding the actions undertaken to patients in order health service. The problem in Mitra Medika Hospital is the delay of returning in-patients medical record files, based on preliminary studies it is known because the doctors do not sign soon in medical resume during 2x24 hours after discharge. Signaturing is an example of a behavior performed by a doctor. The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics doctor against to the behavior of a signature on in-patients medical resume. The research using analytical with cross sectional approach. Statistical test using the Spearman correlation test with α = 0.05. Based on the results the accuracy of signatures on medical resumes still low (23.3%). The results showed that there was no significant relationship between age, length of work, employment status, structural position and the average number of patients against to the behavioral of signatures on in-patients medical resume. The level of education can not be done with the Spearman rank statistical test because the data is homogeneous.
