Abstract

Based on the latest standards of hospital accreditation KARS 2012 version stated that hospitals in practice have to run service-based, standardized and patient safety. BPJS era also requires hospitals to run service-based quality control and cost control. Both of these demands one of which can be realized by implementing clinical pathways in the services to the patients. Clinical pathway itself is used as a standard or guide in the care of the uniform and standardized patient-based quality control and cost control. Based on the preliminary survey at the Jember Klinik Hospital note that the implementation of clinical pathways not running optimally, there are several factors that affect in terms of man, method, machine and material which causes incompleteness and hamper the implementation of clinical pathways in patient care. The purpose of this study to explore the factors that most influence in the implementation of clinical pathways using fishbone diagrams. The research is a qualitative data collection method of observation, interviews and brainstorming. The results of this study are of 4 factors (man, method, machine and material) are the most influential in the implementation of clinical pathways is the man factor. Those with less motivation for not maximal leadership role in providing the motivation and knowledge of officers who do not understand the importance of clinical pathways for patients and hospitals. Based on these results that can be done is to increase the leadership role in appreciating the performance of the officer as well as the dissemination and workshops to enhance the capabilities and insights officer. Suggestions from the analysis of the implementation of clinical pathways is to examine more deeply completeness of clinical pathways and causes.
