Abstract

The thermoelectric cooling system is a conversion phenomenon from a temperature difference to an electrical energy or vice versa. This phenomenon has been developed into a module so it can be used as a power plant or a cooling or heating device. This research designs a thermoelectric cooling apparatus which aims to find alternative environmentally friendly cooling machine. The results showed that the lowest temperature achieved in the cooling chamber was 14.2 0C with the addition of 23% salt solution, while the lowest temperature without saline solution only reached 17.3 0C For the largest COP value is 1.85 while using a salt solution of 23% of 1.73. In the test carried out for 2 hours with a span of 5 minutes once the data retrieval.
