Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of fertilizer types and doses on the production and quality of ciherang rice seed. The study was conducted, in April 2016 - July 2016 and implemented in the Land Production, Polytechnic of Jember. This research used Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factor and repeated 5 times. The first factor was the type of fertilizer that consists of cow manure (P1) and sheep manure (P2). The second factor was the dose of fertilizer consisting of 7,5ton / ha (D1), 10ton / ha (D2), 12,5ton / ha (D3). The results showed that the treatment was highly significant effect (**) on plant height parameter aged 8 MST, vegetative phase, and significantly different on the parameters of the number of grains. The effect of Fertilizer doses were not significantly different outcomes on all parameters. On the fertilizer type interaction (P) and the dose (D) significant effect (*) only on the parameter number of grain and other not significant (ns) on all parameters.
