Abstract

This study was conducted over three months, from August 2015 until December 2015 in the hamlet, Sukorambi, Jember an altitude above 450 to 600m above sea level. This study was conducted using a randomized block design (RAK) with 2 factors and 4 replications. The first factor is the pillar system consisting of no pillar and uses pillar. The second factor consists of pruning pruning branches under the leaves of the 5th, the growing point trimming, pruning branches in the leaf to-5. The results showed that the treatment system and compared with a significant effect on the number of filled seeds and heavy seed crop planting. Using a pillar gives the best result on the parameter. Trimming treatment effect is very significant to the date of flowering, and yield significant results against perbua number of filled seeds, and seed weight apiece. Pruning branches in the leaf 5 gives the best results on the parameter. There is no interaction between the pillar and the pruning of the system of production and quality of watermelon seeds.
