Abstract

Energy audit is one of effort to actualize more efficient energy consumption. This research takes a location focus in Jember of Tourism and Culture Office by evaluating an Energy Consumption Intensity and the chances of saving energy. The result of this research shows that energy consumption in the building with 896,6 m2 in large is 17912,016 kWh so the calculation of Energy Consumption Intensity was found 19,9 kWh/m2/year. It means that the value is still under the standart of Energy Consumption Intensity in building using air conditioner. A significant result has obtained after the author applied efforts to save energy in building, where the energy concumption decreased in 2763,792 kWh/m2/year with Energy Consumption in 16,8 kWh/m2/tahun or equal with 15,4 %. A several recommendation that given to increase of energy using in this building are replace an ordinary lamp with a LED lamp, manage an equipment position and use a brighter paint colour in building to minimize a lamp using on a day.
