Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of growth regulators of IBA and BAP on iles-iles explant media on early shoots, early root, early callus, shoot number, leaf number, and the number of roots. The method used tissue culture techniques. The experimental design that was used was factorial completely randomized design with 2 factors. The first factor was IBA (I), it consisted of 3 levels. They are I0: 0 ppm, I1: 0.2 ppm, I2: 0.4 ppm. The second factor was BAP (B), it consisted of 3 levels. They are B0: 0 ppm, B1: 2 ppm, B2: 4 ppm. It composed of 9 treatments and each treatment repeated 3 times, for a total treatment of 27 bottles. The solution of MS + 0.4 ppm IBA + 0 ppm BAP showed very significant difference effect on the parameters of the number of leaves with the average number of leaves 2,27. Meanwhile, other parameters such as early shoots, roots early, the number of shoots, number of roots showed non significant difference effect.
