Abstract

The accuracy of the diagnose code is the coding accuracy in providing the code according to the standard rules of ICD-10. Diagnose data accuracy is very important in the field of clinical data management, back billing chargers, along with other matters relating to the care and health services. The study was conducted in July 2013. The sample used in this study were 98 medical records of hospitalized patients and 3 coder. Instrument in this study using check lists and observation sheets. Type of this research is observational analytic use cross sectional approach and quantitative analysis using Chi-Square and Regresi Logistik test for hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing showed that seven variables affect only the ability to read the diagnose accuracy of the p value = 0,000 (p value < 0,25 while six variables showed no effect between the diagnose completeness, ability to understand medical terminology, workload, working facilities, means of communication, the ability to communicate to the accuracy of disease diagnose code.
