Abstract

Nutrition problems in population development is still an issue that to be a major problem in the structure of world population, so that these issues become problems together. Indonesia was included in the top 5 with malnutrition in children under five in the world, malnutrition in East Java continues to increase from year 2010 to 2012. Whereas in Jember malnutrition rates continue to increase in 2012 the incidence of malnutrition as much as 3574 children, while in 2013 amounted to 3686 childrens and in 2014 amounted to 3778 cheldren. The objective of this research was to map the incidence of malnutrition using the geographic information system applications such as ArcView 3.2 and identify risk factors for health services and education level in Sumberbaru district. This of research using descriptive method with data collection techniques such as interviews and observations in Jember District Health Department and Community sumberbaru Health Center, The results of this research note that Sumberbaru District has the highest incidence of malnutrition totaling 260 children malnutrition, Identification of the health services in the Sumberbaru district has two community health centers and 126 posyandu where village Jatiroto highest incidence of malnutrition as much as 57 while on Posyandu Anggrek 30 and Anggrek 27 there were 9 children malnutrition, identification of educational level such as the mother's education level in the district to know that the highest average level of maternal education in the Sumberbaru District an elementary school (SD).
