Abstract
Noteworthy building security, safety, health, comfort and convenience to the place of work activity. As an initial point of patient goals come chamber medical records must comply with the rules. RSU Bhakti Husada Krikilan plans to relocate the medical records unit to the new building which has been prepared and it is considered to be more comfortable and spacious. The purpose of this research is to redesign the ergonomic workspace layout of medical record unit that includes efficiency, health, safety, security and comfort of personnel in the workplace. The type of research is descriptive with interview data collection techniques of observation, and focus group discussion. The results of this research are the condition of the old building used that is small and narrow enough as well as the facility and infrastructure that are used still does not find the needs of medical records clerk. Arrangement for work space station of the medical record is not suitable with the work flow. The area of the room is not suitable with the area of medical records and does not fit the needs of the work unit medical record. The results of redesigning the work space units is in the form of medical records, filing room, Onsite registration, in active room and there is also headroom medical record. Its facilities and infrastructures are adjusted with anthropometric of the officers and the needs of the next medical records unit. So that it will fill the ergonomic aspects include efficiency, health, safety, security, and comfort.
