Abstract

The freezing do at now is freezing with use the permanent temperature begin from the first process freezing product until the finish process. Uses energy at conventional freezing the permanent temperature method, own energy consumption ineffecient because every phase decrease terperature product have diffirence energy. This Research is aims to develop a palte touch freezer with the gradual freezing system but only using a single evaporator and not use conveyor to moving product. Based on testing, the COP value of freezer produce is between 4,13-4,39. The performance of the freezer according to the freezing rate value belonging to the rapid solidification that is equal to 0,98-1,43 cm/h. Gradual decrease treatment is more efficient in energy than without a gradual decrease. Freezing with the gradual method providing electrical energy savings value 19,22-24,41 % compared to conventional freezing. The best gradual decrease in temperature of media treatment occurs in the treatment is at -5, -15 and -20 °C with a COP value 4,35, the freezing rate 1,43 cm/h and consumption of electrical energy 0,6233 kWh. Overall, the performance and use of electrical energy deliver more efficient in energy than the Chusni’s multi evaporator freezer. The average COP is 4,30 and the freezing rate is 1,10 cm/h and deliver more efficient use of electricity energy that is 68,05 % than the Chusni’s multi evaporator freezer.
