Abstract

The mother is one of the family’s parenting directly. Knowledge of Respiratory disease in the Mother of toddler is very important to reduce the number of Respirator disease incidence of Respiratoy disease incidence among communities. Low maternal knowledge can increase the incidence of Respiratory disease in toddlers. A good knowledge will reflect the action and good maintenance of Respiratory disease that primarily also occur in toddlers. This research aims to analyze the relationship of the level of knowledge the mother about the disease of acute respiratory tract infections (Respiratory) and food intake with sufferers of Respiratory toddler nutrition status by December 2015- January 2016 in Bondowoso Curahdami Clinics. This research method using analytic survey research with cross sectional approach . The number of Samples in this research is as much as 64 respondents (toddlers and mother of a toddler) who suffer from Respiratory ailments at clinics curahdami bondowoso taken are accidental . Analysis of the correlation of the test data using Spearman’s Rank. The result of this research show that there is no relationship between the level of knowledge of Respiratory disease of the mother with a toddler nutrition status of sufferers of Respiratory , there is no relationship between he intake of food (energy,protein, fat and carbohydrates) and toddler nutrition status of sufferers of Respiratory.
