Abstract

There are several systems that allow infiltration or non-administrator users can change the configuration of a network device main Routers and Switches freely. One of the countermeasures to build the system remote access to network devices. TACACS (Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System) is a system used remote access to network devices. TACACS + is a technology that is very important as one of the technologies to be applied in network security. A technology that has embraced the concept of AAA comprising of Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting. Authentication is the process of checking the users listed in the database. Authorization is to limit user privileges so that not just anyone can access the system in order to maintain security. Accounting is a record of user activity in the network during the start of access time to data packets used.
