Abstract
The mortality codification according to World Health Organization is a codification of an event including disease and violence caused serious defect. This codification is the basic codification of mortality. The accurateness of this codification diagnose is depend on its completeness mortality certificate. Furthermore, this research focused on the connection between the completeness of diagnose and its basic codification according to ICD-10 in the Dr. H. Koesnadi Hospital Bondowoso start from July 2013. There were 62 medical record data in hospitalized patient that died on first quarterly as a sample. This research used check list as its observation. Moreover, it also use cross sectional analytical observation and Correlation Spearman Rank (Rho) quantitative analysis to maintain the hypothesis. Finally, the result of this research found 43,5% incomplete death certificates and 58,1% inaccurate data. Besides, according to statistic test, there were (p)=0,000 < α= 0,05 sig score. Therefore, we could conclude the connectivity of the completeness diagnose and the accurateness of basic mortality codification according to ICD-10 in the Dr. H. Koesnadi Hospital Bondowoso.
