Abstract

Determination of the outpatient diagnostic code is done by the officer in the coder section and the nurse of polyclinics. The education qualified of nurse in polyclinic is not accordance with the competent should be. So, still found diagnostic codes not accurate. The purpose of this study is to analyze influence the education qualified of coder to the accuracy of determination the outpatient diagnosis code of Bangil General Hospital. This research use analytic survey method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study are 12 officer in the coder section and 20 nurse of polyclinics. The sample in this study are 9 officer in the coder section and 15 nurse of polyclinics in Bangil General Hospital. Samples were taken by probability sampling. Result of influence test using logistic regression indicate that p = 0,005. Its mean that, there is influence the education qualified of coder to the accuracy of determination the outpatient diagnosis code of Bangil General Hospital.
