Abstract

The reflector design is made just the same number of holes, the goal is to find the best reflector efficiency on UB-03-1 stove. This study discusses the influence of the number of reflector holes and on which reflector has the highest efficiency on the UB-03-1 stove and compares the efficiency of the UB-03-1 biomass stove with the addition of reflector or without reflector. The materials used in this research are mahogany, stainless steel plate used to make reflector with thickness 2 mm, water, solar, measuring cylinder, UB-03-1 biomass stove and reflector. The method used is WBT (Water Boiling Test) method in order to know the efficiency of UB-03-1 stove at the time of addition of reflector and without reflector. WBT method is basically divided into three important parts of the test WBT cold start, hot start WBT testing, and testing WBT simmering.
