Abstract

Bioethanol can be made from raw materials onggok cassava through hydrolysis.On hydrolysis needed a catalyst acid to break up starch to sugar simple. The hydrolysis of by acid chemical can cause corrosion and the environmental pollution , hence necessary natural acid. Natural acid having an excess on their use as well as environmentally friendly one of them is an acid derived from mulberry ( morus rubra). Those who used in this research is on variations in concentration acid fruit mulberry of 50 %, 33,33 % and 25 % and variation time hydrolysis namely 45 minutes and 60 minutes with the temperature 1210c.The result of analysis stastistika use anova obtained treatment best in the 45 minutes and concentration 50 % with value de ( dextrose equivalent ) 1,5678 %. From the distillation use raw materials onggok cassava and catalyst fruit mulberry produce levels of 4,53 % ethanol with maximum yield 14,44%.
