Abstract

Medical record returns on time is important factor in the execution of medical record, SPO assigned RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember set returns inpatient unit medical record is 2x24 hours after patients completed treatment. Based on the results of preliminary study was obtained by the nurse's behavior cause delays repayment of medical record in inpatient units RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember due to lack of motivation to work, January 2016 amount of delay in reaching 47.75%, February 2016 amount of the delay decreases 25.8%, however March 2016 delay refund file increases reach 53, 8%. The average delay in refund file for 3-5 days. The purpose of the research analyzed the relationship of motivation working nurses in inpatient units against behavior in medical record file returns at RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember. Methods used in this study is analytic survey method with cross sectional approach using statistical test of correlation pearson. The sample used is nurse on inpatient units as much as 23 respondents. Work motivation variables as variables in the behavior and free file returns as a variable. Research instrument using a detailed questionnaire. Work motivation and behavior is correlation because the value of significance smaller than 0.05 is 0.021. the correlation relationship 0.477 which means the level of correlation is medium. Suggestions that can be taken is need for the giving reward and punishment for nurses in the implementation returns medical record files and should research further proceeding with the work motivation besides the factors related to behavior of nurses in medical record file returns.
