Abstract
Inpatient daily census is activity of recording or counting patient that performed daily in inpatient installations. In RSU dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso found the problem about incompatibility of inpatient daily census with SIMRS that involve accuracy of report results or recapitulation of inpatient daily census is doubtful. Highest data of the incompatibility of inpatient daily census with SIMRS in Teratai paviliun on June is 37%. The purpose of this study were to analyze factors and efforts to repair the problem of the incompatibility of inpatient daily census with SIMRS. The type of this research is qualitative using the performance theory of Robbins (Motivation, Opportunity, Ability). The method to collect data were using in-depth interview, observation, documentation, and brainstorming. The result of this reasearch was to know the factors causing the incompatibility of inpatient daily census with SIMRS caused by Motivation factor about the giving reward and punishment is not maximal. The Opportunity factor about admin’s knowlegde of SOP is lacking, and there is no training for inpatient daily census recording. Ability factors about admin’s knowledge have different perceptions in recording inpatient daily census and lack of admin discipline. From the causes above, RSU dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso Hospital must revise the SOP and do socialization on their officer and training about inpatient daily cencus recording.
