Abstract

This research was aim to determine the influence cut-off age of native chicken towords the percentage of abdominal fat. The method used in this research is experimental method with eight treatments and three replications. Material that used in this research was 240 native chickens unsex with the average weight 38 gram in beginning. Animal feed used was commercial feed which containt 21% protein, and 3.000 kkal/kg metabolism energy. This research used Completely Randomized Design as design of experiment, with eight treatments and three repetitions. The treatment used were 55 days, 56 days, 57 days, 58 days, 59 days, 60 days, 61 days and 62 days. The result of the research showed that cutoff age different obviously toward feed consumtions and wight increases while cut-off age doesn’t different obviously towards feed conversion, carcass percentage, abdominal fat weight and abdominal fat percentage. The best cutting in of free-range chicken weigh good quality is at 55 days of age.
