Abstract

One of the primary needs of every person is equal rights in gaining access to health resources, whereby all the needs of health services in the need to be safe, quality and affordable. One of them is in running the health service, the hospital is required to hold medical records as a means for communication tools between health providers. Problems that occur in RSUD Tongas Peobolinggo that is the delay in returning the file, uncontrolled out of the file into the filing space. The purpose of this research is to develop medical record storage information system at Tongas Probolinggo Regional General Hospital. This research is a qualitative research with FAST development method. Data collection using interviews and observation. The results of this study in the form of dams and the development of an information system storage of medical record files. The need for the development of medical record storage system is transcluded in the form of flowchart, context diagram, data flow diagram, entity relation diagram. The design is further translated into the Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0 programming language resulting in master data, transaction data, and report data. The test results show that the system does not show any error. The existence of this medical record storage information system can simplify the process of controlling the file electronically. Furthermore it would be better if the system information that has been made this can be developed online so it can be integrated well.
