Abstract

Innovations keep doing by the community to improve performance on the engine to obtain maximum power. One easy way to improve engine performance is to extend the piston step by moving the crankshaft pin position higher (stroke up). The purpose of this study was to find the highest torque and power value from stroke up variations with the adjustment of pilot jet and main jet carburetor and ignition angle. This research experimental method, where will be done piston step change with adjustment main jet and pilot jet carburetor and change of ignition angle. The purpose of this study was to find the highest torque and power value of stroke up variations with adjustment of spuyer The highest torque value is in the stroke up 11 mm with the ignition angle 19° BTDC at 22,46 N.m. The lowest torque value has a stroke standard with an ignition 15° BTDC at 13,17 N.m. The highest power value is on the stroke up 11 mm with the ignition angle 15° BTDC at 23,4 HP. The lowest power value is a stroke standard with ignition angle 19° BTDC at 13.8 HP
