Abstract

Health services purpose to meet the needs of individuals or communities to overcome, neutralize or normalize all health problems in the community. Health problems are still high tuberculosis. Tuberculosis opportunities can be fully cured if patients who suffer from routine tuberculosis to take medication every day for 6 consecutive months, if not done routinely cause the bacteria to only weaken for a moment then will strengthen again. Most patients who stop taking medicine occur during productive age (15-64 years), which is caused by patient activities such as work, and results in the treatment process being hampered. One technology-based strategy is to provide controlled treatment services to patients using mobile technology, which is useful for improving patient services through reminder of taking medication schedules and android-based medical treatment schedules. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used were observation, and interviews. The results of this study are reminder applications for tuberculosis patients at the pulmonary clinic at Bangil Hospital in Pasuruan Regency based on Android using the waterfall method introduced by Somerville. The system design process uses the flowchart system, context diagram, data flow diagram, entity relationship diagram. Reminder notifications will be received by the patient the day before the patient is supposed to come to the pulmonary clinic, while the reminder for taking medication will be received by the patient every day, and also there is a warning notification if the drug will run out.
