students achievement is the dream of every school-age child, Achievement is obtained is based on an ability to the knowledge possessed by each student, so this achievement will even greatly help obtain a good life in the future. Each educational institution, especially in Junior High School always have vision and mission of achievement of high academic based on imam and taqwa as well as environmental insight to realize the rank of international rating as well as at school SMPN 3 Maesan To realize that desire every school need to evaluate, improve more good service about teaching technique, quality assurance in order to make the school a competitive, quality and achievement. other than that this data can also be used as data archiving student value.Based on the picture above it can be designed a system to assist teachers in determination of student achievement decisions, other than that this data can also be used as archiving data of student value.From the above description into a consideration for writer to make the title of "Student Selection Decision Support System Selection Using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) Method" the determination of the students can be categorized as multicriteria case because there are several different to help manage the student achievement assessment in order to make the decision correctly. Creating applications that are useful in assisting decision making in the selection of outstanding students based on predetermined criteria using Visual Basic.Net
