Abstract

Security has become a major focus of concentration and dependence on society as information technology, especially in server services have an important role in terms of security, the security threat is very diverse, ranging from scanning the network to malware exploits action. To overcome these problems required a security system that can detect all the threats that can harm the server. Honeypot is one in a network security paradigm, Dionaea is a tool of the honeypot to form a low-interaction honeypot, Dionaea is a software that offers network services which can be exploited by service at the port. In its actions to trap malware, and get a copy of the code of the malware that managed to get stuck. The existence of online testing for three days and simulated attacks against the server as a benchmark performance against Dionaea. Penetration done using linux distro times. The initial stage of penetration scanning nmap port using the tool, this tool is useful to know the service ports are open. after the penetration proceed to exploit the open ports using the tool metasploit. Of simulated attacks that have been applied successfully to detect attacks Dionaea system and provide false information in the form of services open port on the intruder, Dionaea also secured the malware code.
