Abstract

Making A Booklet As Promotional Media Of Sayuwiwit Batik is the title of this final project report. The reason why the writer chose this project, because Sayuwiwit Batik needs promotional media to promote its product. The writer chose booklet because the owner of Sayuwiwit Batik asked the writer to make it. The owner will use the booklet when she joins in Banyuwangi Art Week, she will distribute the booklet to some people who comes the event. In making this final project, the writer needs to gather the information about Satyuwiwit Batik. Therefore, the writer used four steps of data collecting method. There are observation, interview, documentation, and audiovisual materials. Furthermore, the writer used the procedures of making booklet from Cahyono et. al,. (2017) such as arrange data, creative concept, content of book, color concept, layout style, and binding. This booklet was made in three parts. The first is opening that contained the history of Sayuwiwit Batik. The second is main part of the booklet that contained kinds, motifs, and the price of batik. In this part the writer provided the picture of kinds and batik motif and short description about that. The last part is closing that contained contact person and the location of Sayuwiwit Batik so the reader can easier to get there. The size of booklet entitled “The Oldest Wonderful Banyuwangi Batik” is 15x 21. The booklet use font size 9 and 14 with three kinds of font style. There are Nexa Bold, Anurati, and Monserrat. The booklet was designed by using Corel Draw X7. To finishing this booklet, the writer found some difficulties in making script of booklet and in translate process. The writer should learn how to make a good x booklet, how to arrange script, and the design of the booklet. In translate process the writer tried to translate from Indonesian to English. The writer was helped by the supervisor to make sure the translation was correct.
