Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of urea fertilizer and flower pruning and its interaction to the length of stolon on strawberry nursery. This research was conducted in October 2018 until January 2019 at Citrus and Subtropic Fruit Research Institute at Tlekung Street No.1 Beji, Junrejo, Batu City, East Java 65327. This research was applied Randomized Block Design with 2 factors. The first factor was Urea Fertilizer with 5 levels, N0 = Urea 0 gr/L, N1 = Urea 1 gr/L, N2 = Urea 2 gr/L, N3 = Urea 3 gr/L dan N4 = Urea 4 gr/L. The second factor was flower pruning with 2 levels, T1 = no flower pruned, T2= flower pruned. The result of this research shows that the best urea fertilizer treatment is 4 gr/L (N4) for all parameters. Application of urea with 4 grams of urea fertilizer treatment can provide significantly different effect on the parameters plant height at 42 MST (39.99 cm) and 56 MST (41.60 cm), and the parameters of the number of leaves at the age of 56 MST (24, 33 cm). Flower truning had no significant effect on all parameters of observation and interaction between urea and fertilizer application flower pruning did not effect but the strawberry plant nursery.
