Abstract

Data processing in situbondo dr Abdoer Rahem Hospitals filling division was still doing manually, there was no system information that provided information about borrowing and return back medical record files for process it. Percentage of late return in January – March 2018 was over 50%. It was caused of the officer of it forgot to returning the medical record files to filling room. The purpose of this research is to design and make borrowing and return back medical record files information sytem by sms gateway in RSUD dr Abdoer Rahem. Type of this research is qualitative by collection technique that cover observation, interview, documentation and brainstorming. The method that uued for this research is developed waterfall system method. This method created by developing some methode. There are requirements analysis and definition to know system need, system and sofware design to make design in the form of flowchart, context diagram DFD and ERD, implementation and unit testing to change system overview become particularly program code and integration and system testing to assemble program parties and tested to user. Result of this research is a borrow and return back medical record files information system by SMS gateway that provide information about medical record files borrowing, medical record files return back, print of tracer and SMS reminder that was tested by application well in RSUD dr Abdoer Rahem Situbondo.
