Abstract

Detection of ripeness of bananas using ambon banana. Ambon banana is then taken from the image on the front side, back side, right side and left side. Ambon banana image was taken in the morning to get the right light and carried outdoors and with the same distance of 25 cm from the camera lens to the object. Every day ambon banana color change, color can be used as parameters. Detection of ripeness ambon banana based on the color seen by the method of image matching. In this method compares the image matching between the two images, namely the image as a reference image and the image as test images. From a reference image and test images obtained value average RGB color between respectively image. Value average RGB between respectively image is calculated to find the value of image matching. Value image matching the image into a range of values to indicate that the test images including which category. Categories of detection of this ripeness that is raw, half cooked and overcooked.
