Abstract

Hospital Management Information System is a computerized system for collecting, processing and presenting data. Which the data will then be processed and integrated with the entire flow of health business service processes in the form of coordination networks, reporting and administrative procedures to obtain information quickly, precisely and accurately. The application of outpatient reporting at Mitra Sehat Situbondo Hospital is still done manually, this causes problems in the recapitulation process. The aim of this study is to design a webbased information system using the waterfall method including stages analysis and definition requirements, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing. The methods of collecting the information that needed are observation, indepth interviews and brainstorming. By designing this outpatient information system, it’s expected that it can then be applied and help to overcome the existing problems at Mitra Sehat Situbondo Hospital in making reports that are faster, precise and accurate.
