Abstract

Hydrogen production method by electrolysis of water in HHO Gas Generator is a simple and beneficial method because it does not produce side products related to fossil fuels, therefore the electrolysis method of water is being developed at this time. In this study the used material of the marine electrochlorination systems was used as an electrolysis cell in the HHO Gas Generator. The performance test will be carried out by experiment on the effect of electrolytic conductivity values used and pulse-width modulation on a 12 volt working voltage. Performance testing is carried out to determine the specific energy requirements, the rate of gas production, the percentage of gas produced, and the efficiency of the HHO gas generator.
