Abstract

Healthy People 2010 for Hypertension advocated the need for a more comprehensive approach and intensive in order to achieve optimal blood pressure control. High incidence of hypertension in hospitalization clinic dr. M. Suherman requires a special strategy to control and monitor patients in the management of hypertension through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as a risk management efforts of complications due to hypertension, disability, and mortality. The purpose of this research is to design and create a system of educational information in hypertensive patients based CRM as a media for health promotion efforts through lifestyle modification for hypertensive patients and healthy visit tools for participant of BPJS Health of Hospitalization Clinic dr. M. Suherman. The method used is the waterfall method with step form requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing. This study used a qualitative approach, where the process of collecting and data collection is done by interviews, brainstorming, documentation, and literature. The programming language used is MySQL and Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0. The results obtained is educational information system in hypertensive patients based on CRM using SMS gateway and website Hospitalization Clinic dr. M. Suherman. For further researchers expected that development of the system by doing a bridging system between the website and the SMS gateway integrates SIM Clinic and Primary Care. In addition, SMS gateways can be added with other features such as SMS birthday remember and reporting of cases of hypertension, so it can add value to retain the CRM cycle
