Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differences in cutting age and different feeding periods for body weight gain, carcass percentage, and edible offals percentage. The research method used was factorial complete randomized design (RALF) using 4 treatments of factor 1 cut age and factor 2 feed period. The parameters observed were body weight gain, carcass percentage and edible offals percentage. The difference in influential cutting age is very real (P<0.01) to increase body weight gain, carcass percentage and edible offals percentage, while the BR1 and BR1+BR2 feeding periods did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on body weight gain, carcass percentage, and edible offals percentage. Cutting age and feeding period have interactions on body weight gain, but there were no interactions on carcass percentage and edible offals percentage.
