Abstract

In line with the increasing public demand for services that focus on the patient, a paradigm shift accreditation began in 2012. Kaliwates General Hospital Currently have come to the minimum accreditation deadline that has been conducted in 2010. At the Medical Records Unit, there are some things that are less appropriate. Officers and medical records have not fully implement the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) in exercising such work; medical record file is not returned directly to the shelf filing after assembling and coding activities; medical record file will be returned to the shelf filing when the officer has a loose resulting in accumulation of the file; and the absence of tracer to replace outgoing medical record file or borrowed. If this matter continues to happen then the medical record file maintenance is questionable. With the new accreditation standards, the researchers assessed the medical record file Kaliwates Jember Hospitals using the standard version of the 2012 hospital accreditation. This study is a descriptive study using medical record file and manual operation of the medical record as a source of evidence Hospitals Kaliwates conformance with the standard. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the information assessment results Kaliwates Hospital medical record file based on the standard 2012 version crediting Hospital. The results obtained from this study is a medical record file Kaliwates overall Hospitals can be said to have been in accordance with the percentage of 87.03% with the acquisition of a total score of 245 of 270 total full score. The conclusion is Kaliwates Hospital medical record file can be said to be in accordance with accreditation standards RS version of 2012, but researchers suggested to hold a tracer for the manufacture of files borrowed and SOP development in Medical Record Unit and implement them properly.
