Abstract
Hospitals are required to constantly improve the quality of service, especially in the registration that being the first service gateway and also provides the first impression to the patients in judges of the quality of hospital as a health care. But there were still found a problem related to prolonged service response time in the surgery poly registration. The purpose of this study was to measure the service quality of patients in surgery poly dr. Soebandi Jember Hospital with Servqual and Entropy methods. The type of this research was descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study was patients of surgery poly dr. Soebandi Jember hospital from March to May in 2013 that totaling 5290 patients. Samples in this study amounted to 98 patients. Data collecting process is done by distributing and weighting questionnaires. The results showed that based on weights criteria using entropy weighting method for the service quality in surgery poly, which has the highest value and need priority is speed improvement by the admissions in service variable that being a part of the dimensions of responsiveness with a number -0.181. To improve the service quality in surgery poly registration, dr. Soebandi Jember Hospital should increase the number of admissions so that the service can run fast, precise, effective and efficient.
