Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the effect of operational costs variable, manpower, experience, technology, the mileage at sea, working hours and the catch against the income of fishermen at Payangan Beach in Jember. This study uses survey method with a sample of 46 respondents conducted on fisherman at Payangan Beach in Jember. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. Overall the results of this study can be concluded that the variable operating costs, labor, experience, technology, the mileage at sea, work hours and catch jointly have significant effect on the income of fishermen at Payangan Beach in Jember. Partially, variable operating costs, labor, experience, technology, and working hours does not have significant effect or not have significantly real affect the income of fishermen at Payangan Beach in Jember while mileage of fishing and catches variable have real influence or significant effect on the income of fishermen in Payangan Beach Jember.
