Abstract

Work motivation, wages and work discipline is one of the important factors that can affect employee performance. The emergence of problems caused by motivation from superiors to subordinates is still lacking, wages that are still below the UMR and the employee's discipline of regulations in the company are less implemented. The success of an organization depends on employee performance. Employee performance is an important factor for the continuity of the company because it is the key to making improvements every day and can only be done by the workforce. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation, wages and work discipline on the performance of employees in the production section of PG Semboro, Jember Regency. The population in this study were 60 employees of the PG Semboro Jember engineering section. Sample random sampling technique is used for sampling, where sampling is done without looking at the strata to be sampled. Methods of collecting data using observation, questionnaires, interviews and literature studies. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression, person correlation analysis and determination, F test and t test. The results of testing with SPSS 21.0 for windows tools can be concluded that (1) Variable work motivation (X1) has a significant effect on Employee performance (Y) in Semboro Jember PG. (2) Wage Variables (X2) have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) in Semboro Jember PG. (3) Work discipline variables (X3) have no significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at Semboro Jember PG. (4) Work Motivation (X1), Wages (X2), and Work Discipline (X3) simultaneously have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) in Semboro Jember PG.
