Abstract
Health care facilities must provide the facilities had required in the course of medical records. Mitra Medika Bondowoso Hospital is in the private sector a hospital who provide quality health care to the community. But in the management environment is still not providing optimal work space in each unit, particularly on the medical records. Medical record room in Mitra Medika Bondowoso Hospital, currently had not in accordance with the standards of ergonomics which works to improve the performance of medical records, layout mismatch processing and filling medical records, a decentralized system, had not optimal area of the room, facilities and infrastructure and the physical environment of the medical records. Based on that Mitra Medika Bondowoso Hospital plans to redesign the space in order to improve the performance of medical records in medical records. The purpose of this research is to redesign the space unit of medical records in accordance with the standards of ergonomics at Mitra Medika Bondowoso Hospital. The method is used descriptive method qualitative data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and focus group discussion. The output produced in this research is the design unit medical records in accordance with the standards of ergonomics with regard spacious room, lighting with a minimum standard of 100 lux, temperature 18-30º C, with air ventilation circulation at least 15% of the area of the room, the layout of the corresponding with workflow medical records and adequate infrastructure.
