Abstract

Impacted teeth tooth eruption is hindered by neighboring teeth , the surrounding bone or pathological tissue , abnormal teeth located on the arch . One of the efforts undertaken by the medical field to know the tooth impaction or do not have a case of Dental Radiology has an important role in determining the diagnosis and treatment on the teeth . The use of X-ray is a tool in the field of general medicine and dentistry were very helpful in diagnosing the disease and determine a treatment plan . For that in this proposal proposed a research idea to implement digital image processing techniques specifically binerisasi , edge detection and application Blob Counter . It aims to make a decision that will be used for the detection of impaction and the number of teeth can be used optimally . Keyword : Impacted teeth, Dental Radiology, X-ray, Blob Counter
