Abstract

This study developed a mobile application with a web-based platform for urban parking man- agement, integrating rule-based image processing and IoT technologies to enhance efficiency and user experience. Using ESP32-CAM for vehicle detection, Firebase for real-time data syn- chronization, and Flutter for the mobile interface, the system achieved 92% detection accuracy, a 1.8-second response time, and 88% user satisfaction based on a survey of 21 respondents. QR code scanning ensured 100% success across 50 test cases, facilitating seamless interaction. Scalable to 200 parking spaces, the system supports smart city goals by reducing congestion and emissions. Limitations include 88% accuracy in low-light conditions and network depen- dency, with future enhancements planned for offline functionality and payment integration.
