Abstract

Early Detection System for Children's Pornography Addiction Using the Website-Based Pornography Addiction Screening Tool (PAST) Method Supervised by Choirul Huda, S.Kom.,M.Kom. Muhammad Rayhan Study Program of Informatic Engineering Majoring of Information Technology Program Studi Teknik Informatika Jurusan Teknik Informatika ABSTRACT The rapid development of information technology has both positive and negative impacts on children. One common negative impact is exposure to pornographic content, which can lead to addiction and disrupt a child's psychological and behavioral development. Therefore, a system capable of early detection of pornography addiction in children is needed so that further treatment can be initiated. This study aims to design and build an early detection system for pornography addiction in children using the Pornography Addiction Screening Tool (PAST). The PAST method is used to measure the tendency of pornography addiction through a series of questionnaires. The system is built using a website-based interface so that it is easily accessible by users. In addition, this study also adds a simple linear regression analysis with the independent variable (X) as class level and the dependent variable (Y) as pornography addiction level. This analysis aims to determine the relationship between class level and the tendency of pornography addiction level. The results of the simple linear regression analysis show a positive relationship between class level and the level of pornography addiction in children. Furthermore, a User Acceptance Test (UAT) involving 20 respondents was conducted to assess the system's usability, resulting in a user satisfaction rate of 85.9%. These results indicate that the system is functional, accurate, and well-received by users, making it suitable for use in school environments.
