Abstract

The promotional video content highlights the cultural and geographical identity of Bondowoso, introduces several types of batik products from Tegar Ampel, and closes with customer testimonials that strengthen the credibility and emotional appeal of the brand. Throughout its development, the project faced several challenges, such as logistical difficulties due to the remote location of the production site, the necessity of balancing detailed information delivery with strategies to maintain viewer engagement, and the need to adapt video content to meet the technical and stylistic requirements of various social media platforms. These obstacles required creative problem-solving, time management, and technical adjustments Despite these challenges, the project yielded valuable contributions in terms of skill development and cultural promotion. The production process enhanced competencies in video-making, digital promotional strategies, and cross-cultural communication, while simultaneously supporting the preservation and dissemination of local cultural heritage in the digital age. The outcomes of the project demonstrate the importance of integrating traditional cultural products with Based on the project’s findings, it is recommended that Batik Tegar Ampel further optimize the use of promotional videos on multiple social media platforms, diversify its product collections to meet varied consumer preferences, and strengthen customer engagement through interactive and participatory strategies. In addition, recommendations for the English Study Program include integrating more practice-oriented projects into the curriculum, fostering stronger collaboration with local industries to provide real-world exposure for students, and offering courses that focus on digital technology and audiovisual translation.
