Abstract

Optimization of the use of inorganic P fertilizer through phosphate dissolution by Aspergillus niger mushroom, so as to provide phosphate elements for edamame plants. This study aims to examine the response of the growth and yield of edamame plants (Glycine max (L.) Merril) to the application of phosphate solvent fungus (Aspergillus niger). This research was conducted on the land of Kebonsari Village, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency from July to November 2024. This study used a non-factorial Random Group Design (RAK) consisting of 5 levels, namely: 0 ml of aspergillus niger mushroom/plant + 100% TSP, 10 ml of aspergillus niger mushroom/plant + TSP 75%, 20 ml of aspergillus niger mushroom/plant + TSP 75%, 30 ml of aspergillus niger mushroom/plant + TSP 75%, 40 ml of aspergillus niger mushroom/plants+ TSP 75 %. The results of the study showed that the application of Aspergillus niger mushrooms was able to optimize the use of inorganic P fertilizer. Aspergillus niger mushroom dosage did not show any significant effect on plant height parameters, number of productive branches, number of sample pods, sample pod weight, root length, and plant fresh weight.
