Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the performance of broiler carcasses. Given of sugar water. Data analysis used was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) by 4 treatments and 5 replications. Broiler stop feeding during 6 hour and given of sugar water as energy subtitute. The feed used BR-1 that has substance of protein 20%-22% and metabolic energy 2900-3100 kcal/kg. Sugar water dose are 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. The results showed is not significant different given of sugar water (P >0,05) to body weight, feed conversion, carcass weight, carcass percentage and abdominal fat percentage. The conclusion of this study showed given of sugar water not influence the body weight, feed conversion, percentage of carcass and abdominal fat percentage, so is not recommended given sugar on broiler.
