Abstract

The reduction in soil quality is attributed to the ongoing application of chemical fertilizers, resulting in suboptimal glutinous corn production in various areas of Indonesia. One strategy to enhance soil conditions is utilizing liquid organic fertilizer made from lamtoro leaves along with PGPR as a biostimulant. This research aims to assess the impact of applying lamtoro leaf liquid organic fertilizer and PGPR on the growth and yield of glutinous corn (Zea mays C.). The study was conducted on farmland in Kejayan Village, Pujer District, Bondowoso Regency. east java form august 2024 to November 2024The research was designed using a Factorial Group Random Design featuring five levels of lamtoro leaf liquid organic fertilizer and three levels of PGPR, resulting in 15 treatment combinations, each replicated three times. The results showed that the interaction with the most efficient yield occurred in the variable of leaf count with POC treatment of lamtoro leaf 200 ml/l and corn root PGPR 25 ml/l (8.9 leafs) and stem diameter of 25 ml/l lamtoro leaf Liquid Organic Fertilizer + 200 ml/l corn root PGPR (22.58 mm). The application of LOF Significant improvements in plant height (203.2 cm), stem diameter (2.23 cm), cob weight with stalks (311.0 g), clot weight without stalks (198.8 g), and cob diameter (5.54 cm) were achieved by applying Organic Fertilizer C water 250 ml/l. Plant height (201.9 cm), stem diameter (2.19 cm), weight with husks (296.8 g), and cob weight without husks (185.9 g) all showed substantial improvements with the administration of PGPR 25 ml/l. The reason for the discrepancy in results is that PGPR's bacterial content can function as a biostimulant and aid in nutrient absorption, whereas lamtoro leaf LOF applied as foliar fertilizer can give plants extra nutrients.
