Abstract

This research focuses on the development of a Decision Support System (DSS) for selecting qurban goats at Kalijompo Plantation using the Weight Product (WP) method. In Islam, qurban is the sacrifice of an animal during the Eid al-Adha festival, and goats are one of the most commonly chosen animals. Although there are many goat breeders, the current selection process for qurban animals is still done manually, which can cause confusion for buyers regarding the health and price of the animal. The WP method, which falls under the category of Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM), is used to simplify decision-making by considering various attributes such as age, weight, price, pregnancy, disease, and defects. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based DSS using the WP method to facilitate the selection of qurban goats and to calculate the accuracy of the system. The expected benefits of this research include simplifying the decision making process and improving efficiency in the selection of qurban goats.
